Symptoms: A suddenly or progressively slow system (especially at the boot-up) can indicate virus activity. Pop-ups and alerts from unfamiliar software, the inability to open other programs or surf the internet, or the presence of unwanted browser toolbars all may be a result of mal ware attacks.

Removal: For many infections a full system reinstall is the only way to be sure the malicious files are completely removed. A full system reinstall is not the same as a system restore! Virus files like to hide within the system restore files and re-install themselves to your freshly restored system. All of your data and programs will be gone and you will still have the virus.

While we can preserve your data during a system reinstall, we cannot save programs. For example, while we can save your quick books files, MS Word documents and email mails, quick books (the program), ms word (the program) and outlook (the program) will need to be reinstalled to access these files. Not to worry! if you don't have these programs we will do our best to get them back for you.
